Apple Grilled Cheddar Cheese Sandwich Recipe with Bacon
There is something about white cheddar and apples that tastes so good. This apple grilled cheddar cheese sandwich has two types of cheese; white cheddar and Jack cheese. And topped that on to a grilled cheese sandwich and you have yourself a very unique meal. I like to use tangy Granny Smith apples for this recipe that way the apple flavor shines through the cheese taste.

Instructions
- Cook bacon for a few minutes in a skillet until your desired crispiness. I prefer my bacon a little chewy. Set aside on paper towel to drain grease.
- Butter all pieces of bread with butter. Slice apples and shred all the cheeses.
- Heat skillet over medium heat and place bread butter side down in skillet.
- Top bread in this order; a small amount of cheeses, apple slices, 1 slice cooked bacon, a small amount of cheese, and second piece of bread with butter side up.
- Cook on each side for a few minutes or until the bread is golden brown and cheese is melting.
- Let cooked sandwiches set for a few minutes before cutting and serving.
