Bacon Cheddar Chicken Breast Recipe with Apple Butter Sauce
Our homestead’s home canned apple butter is about the best thing on this blog. Slow-cooking apple butter all day makes the house smell like heaven. I typically can about ten to twenty half-pint jars in a sitting, and it is wonderfully rewarding. The best breakfast toast has some apple butter spread from end to end. But what about on top of a bacon cheddar chicken breast? But if you don’t have time to make the apple butter, you can purchase some at the store for ease.
One of my last fall’s batches ended up being cooked fast because I was in a rush. It ended up a bit more watery than I typically like, but I canned it anyway. For this batch, I haven’t used it for a breakfast spread but more for a condiment to cook into recipes. Below is a small list of other recipes I like apple butter in.

Cost to make this recipe.
As recipe ingredients go, I love it for a couple of reasons. First, there are a few ingredients needed to make this recipe. Second, the recipe has a minimal cost for a main entrée chicken meal. I calculated the recipe to cost around $10.25 or $2.56 per serving size.
