Bacon Wrapped Brown Sugar Mustard Pork Tenderloin Recipe
There are many ways to prepare excellent pork tenderloin. My bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin smothered in a sweet brown sugar mustard sauce is one perfect way.
This recipe was the first dinner I cooked for the family in my new Hamilton Beach Convection Oven & Rotisserie. I love this oven for a few reasons, one is much smaller than my traditional stove, and oven combo. Sometimes I only want to bake or roast a small casserole, and heating a large oven seems like a waste. This helps that problem. For second, the larger oven heats up the kitchen much more than this smaller oven which is especially good in the summer months. Lastly, this oven has a rotisserie feature, which this recipe is fantastic for roasting.
When using the rotisserie, make sure to use toothpicks to pin up the bacon to the tenderloin. I made that mistake one time, and the bacon rolled right off the pork. That made me pretty mad for not thinking of this sooner.
Brown sugar mustard pork tenderloin uses little ingredients and tastes fantastic. I love this recipe because I use my homemade canned wholegrain mustard. It gives a much more rustic look and tastes better than your classic bottled yellow mustard.
