Brioche Hamburger Buns Recipe
Our family has completely fallen in love with these fresh, buttery Brioche Hamburger Buns. They elevate every meal. Enjoy them with a juicy homemade cheeseburger. Pair them with a savory barbecue pulled meat sandwich. Or try a classic sloppy joe. These are perfect for lunch or dinner. Each bun is soft, tender, and bursting with flavor. They have just the right hint of buttery richness that melts in your mouth. What’s even better is that they are very approachable to bake at home. This is ideal for those who love the satisfaction of homemade bread. You can roll the dough into smaller buns to create sliders. This makes them ideal for parties, gatherings, or even a casual snack. Every bite feels indulgent, and they’ve quickly become a family favorite that turns any simple meal into something special.
Here’s a helpful tip for enjoying these Brioche Hamburger Buns at their absolute best. Serve them fresh. Make sure to bring them straight from the oven. Allow them to rest and cool on a wire rack, which helps preserve their soft, tender texture. That said, they remain delicious a day or two later, perfect for when you can’t enjoy them all immediately. This recipe yields about twelve buns, which is plenty for a family meal—or a few meals. If twelve buns feel like too many at once, consider wrapping each bun individually and freezing them once cooled. This way, you can enjoy the same fresh-baked flavor anytime. Just thaw and warm a bun when you’re ready to savor it.
Cost to make this recipe.
The entire batch of buttery brioche hamburger buns cost about $4.12 or $0.34 per bun. I have pulled out twelve good-sized hamburger buns from this recipe. They are perfect for fitting a burger patty. There is also not too much bread. I hate with I have all bread and no meat on my burgers or sandwiches.
Honestly, this price is downright reasonable for twelve buns. I have bought brioche buns at this price for a mere eight at the grocery store. By making mine, I have already saved money.
