Double Banana Pound Cake Recipe
How many times have you bought a bunch of bananas, eaten the majority of them, and ended up with that one very overripe banana? It just sits there on the counter, mocking you. No matter how many bananas I purchase from the store, I seem to always have that one banana no one wants to touch. But there is also not enough banana to do anything with it.
The phrase I always hear is, “But mama, it’s all brown and yucky. I don’t want to eat that,” from everyone in this house. I just hate to throw anything away, and before I found this recipe, I did give those overly ripe bananas to the chickens for one fantastic treat. So, no, I guess they didn’t go to waste, but now I can use it for the humans at this homestead.
