Crochet Bonnet Pattern
Beautiful, lightweight, and versatile child’s crochet bonnet is a great addition to any Springtime dress or Halloween costume. I made this bonnet for my 5 year old daughter’s Halloween costume. She was dressed as Little Bo Peep and her sister, one of her sheep. This bonnet can easily be put to a scullery maid, colonial peasant, or a medieval wench costume as well. But this doesn’t have to be made only for one day in October. This bonnet goes great with Easter holiday dresses or just for fun everyday wear.
This crocheted child bonnet is also easy to make. You don’t need knowledge of advanced crochet stitches to get the job done. Be sure to use soft baby yarn for this project. It gives the entire project a lightweight and natural feel to the bonnet. It molds to the top of the head with ease as well. You can weave in any color ribbon that matches the dress. It is easy to change out.
