Honey Mustard Vinaigrette Dressing Recipe
It is the beginning of May and officially springtime. That means the weather in North Carolina is getting warmer, and this Mama is cooking less in the kitchen and putting together colder salads. My honey mustard vinaigrette dressing is fantastic to whip up and add to any salad or to use as a dipping sauce for veggies.
Sometimes I purchase store-bought dressing, different varieties than ranch, and sometimes the bottles go bad from no one finishing them. I like to make my dressing because I can adjust the amount we use. This recipe can easily be halved or even doubled for larger crowds. I also love this recipe because I always have these ingredients on hand to make at any time. It is a great recipe with my homemade canned Dijon mustard recipe.
The honey mustard viniagrette has a sweet taste of honey and a tangy hint of mustard. It has a fantastic unique taste that will make you come back for more. Personally, I don’t think you need to flood your salads with this dressing. A little bit goes a long way.
Cost to make this recipe.
The total recipe makes roughly one quart of vinaigrette. Not knowing an exact amount per serving size, I have kept the price of this dressing for the entire recipe. The cost is around $1.48 for a quart.
