Mango Strawberry Fruit Leather
Tangy, sharp, and sweet are three descriptive words I can use to describe my Mango Strawberry fruit leather. The sharp, tangy strawberry comes through the sweet pureed mango like a champ. The flavor combination is perfect together. And the colors together makes it fun and enjoyable to devour.
My husband has been in love with my fruit leathers lately. I am always coming up unique and fun flavors for the hubby to take on his annual backpacking trips. He adores going out for about a week every year and section hiking the Appalachian Trail. There isn’t much out there but trees and wildlife. So breaking out meals is always a topic of conversation for all hikers. I love for him to pull out these fruit leather treats, and he loves to share them with others on the trail.
And yes, these were an absolute hit with everyone. Bring something new that you can’t get in a store package makes lots of hikers excited, believe it or not. They are also a favorite with the kiddos for an after school snack. My older daughter loves to eat all my fruit leather while she does her homework. And I love to snack on them while I write these posts for you all to read.
