Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Baked Oatmeal Recipe
I love to make baked oatmeal for the family and this oatmeal raisin cookie baked oatmeal is just another great addition. My kids love to eat it and are so filling for breakfast before school. Typically I make a casserole dish full of baked oatmeal on Sunday so the kids have breakfast leftovers for the entire week. Making this is an absolute time-saver in the morning, not to mention filling and healthy.
This cookie baked oatmeal taste nearly just like an oatmeal raisin cookie. The added Biscoff Cookie Butter Spread makes a perfect addition and the butter cookie taste. After this recipe, I have become a huge fan of cookie butter. It is so amazing to have this great Biscoff cookie taste into a spreadable condiment. I promise I will post more recipes that use this cookie butter which is just plain amazing.
As for a syrup topping, this oatmeal goes with just about any sweet pancake syrup. Maple syrup is the obvious choice but you could also try a fresh fruit syrup or a cranberry maple syrup.
Cost to make this recipe.
I calculated this yummy breakfast entrée to cost around $6.82 for an 8×8 casserole dish or about $0.76 per serving slice. If you grow a few of the ingredients like the grapes to make the raisins or raise your eggs, then you can reduce the cost a little bit. The cost could reduce to roughly $5.06 or $0.56 per serving.
