Strawberry Lemonade Fruit Leather Recipe
If you are wondering what strawberry lemonade fruit leather is, well think fruit roll-up. T
Making fruit leathers is a great way to dehydrate extra fruit that you may have on hand but don’t know what to do. Dehydrating with a Nesco Snackmaster Express Food Dehydrator and Nesco American Harvest Fruit Roll-Up Sheet extends the shelf life of the fruit by removing all the water. When I make any fruit leathers, like this strawberry lemonade fruit leather, nothing is extended. These sweet and tangy treats are gone in a day or so. My family loves them.
What is also very nice about making your fruit leather is the different combinations and varieties that you can’t find in the stores. I have never found strawberry lemonade fruit roll-ups in the store. Or how about fruit yogurt? Strawberries and cream? Those are just some of the different flavor profiles that I am going to work on next. Don’t they sound delicious?
There is one point I would like to point out with this recipe. The strawberry and lemonade combination gives this fruit leather a very tart and tangy taste. If you want to increase the tang, then reduce the strawberry amount. If you want to decrease it, then reduce the lemonade concentrate.
Cost to make this recipe.
I love to preserve my fresh homegrown strawberries and dehydrating is a perfect method. With basically free strawberries popping up all over the garden, this snack recipe can cost a whopping one dollar. But if you don’t grow your own then I suggest buying strawberries on sale and in the season to make this sweet and tart fruit roll

Strawberry Lemonade Fruit Leather
Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh strawberries, …[$6.00]
- 1 can lemonade concentrate, …[$1.00]
Instructions
- Clean and remove stems from all strawberries.
- Blend strawberries and 1 can of lemonade concentrate together. Do not add water. Blend until all the strawberries pieces are turned into liquid and there are no clumps
- Lightly oil your jelly roll or baking sheet with olive or vegetable oil. I smear it on with a towel to get a light coating.
- Dehydrate in oven or dehydrator for 3-4 hours at 160 °F. Times can be different for how thick you poured your fruit leather. The thicker it is, the longer the dehydration process.
- Lightly touch the fruit leather, if it does not stick to your finger then it is finished. Take out and let cool completely before cutting into pieces. If it is crispy and brittle then you have over “cooked it”.
- Seal in an airtight container and enjoy.
