Cookie Butter Pound Cake is a delicious basic butter pound cake flavored with fantastic cookie butter along with a cream cheese cookie butter frosting.
Grease a tube angel food pan or Bundt cake pan. Preheat the oven to 350 °F
Cream 2 sticks butter, 2 cups white granulated sugar and 4 heaping tbsp cookie butter together until smooth. Beat in one egg at a time then add in remaining ingredients (6 large eggs, 1 tsp baking powder, 2½ cups all purpose flour, ½ tsp vanilla extract, ½ tsp almond extract and blend until batter is smooth.
Bake cake in oven for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool down slightly on a wire rack.
Cookie Butter Frosting
Blend together all frosting ingredients (4 oz cream cheese, 2 tbsp cookie butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 splash milk) until smooth. Add enough milk to your liking—more for thinner frosting, less for thicker frosting.
