Peel and chop sweet potato and onion. Place potatoes and onion in a medium size pot, cover with water and boil until potatoes are soft. Drain water and mash potatoes with onion. Set aside to let cool.
In a large bowl blend together ground turkey and seasonings. When cool, add mashed sweet potatoes. Make sure potatoes are cooled off otherwise they will cook the raw ground turkey.
Spoon meat mixture in nugget size and form small nugget patties. Toss in breadcrumbs on both sides and set aside until all nuggets are formed and made.
Heat up oil on medium heat in a large frying pan. Lightly fry nuggets until golden brown on both sides; about 2-3 minutes on each side.
