Bacon Cream Gravy over Chicken Breast Recipe
Bacon cream gravy over a pan-fried and oven-baked soft chicken breast is a recipe you must try. Now, if you are on a diet, then look away and find a more suitable recipe because this is not at all healthy, but it is oh so good.
It is made with, you guessed it, delicious salty bacon, it’s grease and heavy cream. I highly suggest a thick bacon cut, but you can use any kind you like.
I like to add mashed potatoes and green beans as side dishes to this family favorite. The gravy goes quite well with them all. Looking for more bacon to your meal, you may want to try our bacon-onion mashed potatoes. German-style spaetzle also is excellent as a side dish.
Cost to make this recipe.
Without side dishes accompanying this entrée, the cost of chicken breast and bacon gravy is roughly $10.30 or $2.58 per serving size. Having homegrown side dishes doesn’t change the price, which is something we here like to do often.
