Gingerbread Sweet Bread Recipe
Gingerbread sweet bread is a great holiday treat for breakfast, dessert, or a simple snack. I love gingerbread flavor and have made many other recipes with it. My gingerbread pound cake and German gingerbread cookies make a pleasant addition to this recipe in the ginger variety.
Slices of this sweet bread wrapped up make great holiday gifts. I like to make a couple of loaves of this recipe to make for my girl’s school during PTA holiday lunches for the teachers. They go over like gangbusters.
I also like to make this bread with a healthier option and substitute the white and brown sugars with equals part Swerve sugar. It doesn’t make this recipe a full on keto or low carb option as it has all-purpose flour, but it lowers the sugars.

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F and grease two bread loaf pans or a Bundt pan.
- In a large bowl blend oil, eggs, applesauce, sugars, molasses, and vanilla extract. Add in remaining ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Pour batter into greased pans and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean in the center. When done, remove from pans and let cool on a wire rack.
