Maple Leek Pulled Pork Pizza Recipe
Are you looking for a unique pizza that the family will love? How about one recipe that uses pulled pork leftovers? Well, look no further that my delicious maple leek pulled pork pizza.
Using our favorite pulled pork recipe for the leftover meat and then combining it with white cheddar and mozzarella cheese and topping it off with a sweet leek and maple sauce. Finally, bake it on homemade pizza dough for that extra homemade pizza taste. I have a fantastic recipe for it which also is great for the freezer.
A little warning, make sure your pulled pork isn’t already drenched in barbecue sauce before making this recipe. That may change the flavors of this recipe and not taste what it was intended to be like. You could also miss out on the distinct maple and mild onion flavors from the leeks that make this recipe truly unique.

Maple Leek Pulled Pork Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 batch pizza dough, …[$1.34]
- 2 tbsp. olive oil, divided…[$0.18]
- 1 large leek, sliced…[$0.75]
- 1 tbsp. maple syrup, …[$0.28]
- 3 cloves garlic, minced…[$0.30]
- 2 cups pulled pork, …[$2.00]
- 4 oz. aged white cheddar, …[$3.00]
- 4 oz. mozzarella cheese, …[$2.00]
- 3 tbsp. barbecue sauce, …[$0.18]
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 °F. In a large bowl, soak sliced leek in ice water for 10 minutes to clean.
- Spread out pizza dough on stone or pan. Drizzle pizza dough with 1 tbsp. olive oil
- In a large skillet, sauté 1 tbsp. olive oil, drained leeks, and garlic for about 10 minutes on low medium heat.
- Add maple syrup and cook for another minute.
- Add maple leek mixture, cooked pulled pork, and cheeses to pizza.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until bubbly and hot. Drizzle on BBQ sauce before eating.
