Italian Meatloaf Recipe
My Italian meatloaf recipe is a deliciously easy meatloaf dinner to make. It is a basic meatloaf mixture with the additional handfuls of fresh or dry basil, mozzarella or provolone cheese, and a large helping of fresh garlic. My meatloaf recipe also makes a superb meatball recipe.
I love making meatloaves for the family. Not only are they so fast being made in a Kitchen Aid Stand mixer but they are kid-friendly with all the ketchup. The stand mixer makes it easy on the hands. Mixing all the very cold ground meats with your bare hands always hurts. The mixer helps to relieve all that and helps from spreading raw meat around the kitchen.
Cost to make this recipe.
I calculated the meatloaf price around $12.00 or $2.00 per serving depending on the thickness of each slice. A loaf pan gives a good six servings for a family dinner.
