Sliced each breast lengthwise into three tenders and sprinkle all tenders with seasonings. Add a bit more chili powder for more of a kick against the sweet maple glaze.
Heat up oil in a skillet and pan sear chicken tenders on non-seasoned side first on medium heat for about 5-7 minutes. Then flip chicken over on the seasoned side for another 5 minutes.
Lower heat to low medium and add maple syrup over chicken. Let simmer and turn into sauce.
Sweet Potato Mash
Peel, cut, and boil sweet potatoes in a large pot until all pieces are soft.
In a large bowl add butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Then mash hot cooked sweet potatoes into bowl until evenly mixed.
Plate chicken tenders on top of sweet potatoes and spoon maple sauce over everything that was made from the pan and enjoy!
