The classic baked French toast recipe spiced up with all the classic apple pie flavors like cinnamon, fresh apples, and a sweet brown sugar crumbly topping.
Tear or cut up bread into small to medium pieces and set into a greased casserole dish.
Pour out apple pie filling and cut up apple pieces into bite size and set aside.
In a large bowl, whip together eggs, milk, and vanilla. Pour into greased casserole dish with bread.
Make sure all the bread is soaking in the egg mixture and fold in the cut apple pie filling.
Cover and set in refrigerator overnight.
In morning top with streusel topping and baked covered for 45 minutes at 350 °F. Remove cover and bake for another 15-20 minutes or until topping becomes brown and bubbly.
