Baked Pancake
Preheat oven to 350 °F. Grease medium size casserole dish. Use a 13x9 dish if you double the recipe.
In a medium bowl whisk together sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, salt, and milk together.
Blend in flour and baking powder and then pour batter in greased casserole dish. Bake for 30 minutes then take out and slice and serve.
Candied Bacon
Lay out the pound of bacon on a sheet pan with a lifted rack inside to catch all the grease.
In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar and spices.
Bake bacon in the preheated oven until the bacon is half cooked to your liking.
Take bacon out of oven and sprinkle sugar mixture. Put back in the oven and bake until sugar as melted and caramelized over each bacon strip.
