These are just like the old fashioned Christmas gingerbread cookie but they lack the traditional molasses.

Instructions
Cream together softened butter and brown sugar. Add vanilla and egg then blend together.
Add all spices and flour and mix together until everything is incorporated. It should look and feel a bit dry for cookie dough.
Add honey a little drizzle at a time and mix until dough is soft and not sticky.
Wrap up and put in refrigerator for at least one hour before rolling out and cutting out cookie cut outs.
Bake cut out cookies at 350 °F for about 8 minutes or until cookies start to brown around the sides.
