Perfect overnight breakfast casserole. The strawberry yogurt baked French toast is a wonderful addition to breakfast that uses strawberry yogurt in place of milk and has the addition of fresh immiserated strawberries.
Place sliced strawberries and white granulated sugar in a bowl together. Mix all together and let mixture sit.
In another bowl whip together eggs, yogurt, and almond extract together. Set bowl aside.
In a third bowl blend together flour, brown sugar, oats, and cold butter until it makes moist and crumbly mixture. Set bowl aside.
Grease a 13x9 inch casserole pan. Cut French bread in cubes and place in casserole pan. Pour egg mixture over top and press bread down gently to make sure all bread will soak up egg mixture.
Spread strawberries and sugar syrup over top of soaked bread. Then sprinkle brown sugared oat topping over top of strawberries. Cover and set in refrigerator for at least four hour or overnight.
When ready, uncover and bake at 350 °F for 45 minutes.
